1763. Alien weapons could win the Revolution—or ensure it never happens.

Ephraim Biggs killed a man and fled. Now, hiding under a false name in a frontier forge, he believes the only way to stay ahead of British justice is to keep running.

But when Captain Mortimer Reece tracks him into the Pennsylvania wilderness and Shawnee warriors ambush his captors, Ephraim falls through a sacred mound into an underground temple. Inside: rapid-fire rifles and alien devices powerful enough to crush any rebellion before it starts.

The weapons make him a target. The British Crown wants to secure them and end colonial resistance forever. The Shawnee want to keep their power from enemy hands. Philadelphia's Sons of Liberty see their only chance at freedom. And Kariwase, the brilliant war chief leading Pontiac's Rebellion, realizes too late that the sacred mound's weapons now serve his enemies.

Ephraim must choose: deliver the rifles to revolutionaries who might stand a chance, or surrender them when Captain Reece threatens innocents. Give the Crown this technology, and there will be no 1776. No Declaration. No United States of America.
